Rules for a professional manager and allocator network. This policy is part of the Terms of Use.
You must follow this policy whenever you use AllocatIN. We may suspend or remove seats, firms, or content that violate it. Report abuse to legal@allocatin.com.
Who the network is for
The services are for people acting for managers and allocators. Do not open a seat as a placement agent, finder, or unsolicited intermediary if we have not expressly authorized that role. Do not impersonate a firm you are not authorized to represent.
Prohibited activities
- Scraping, crawling, harvesting, or bulk-exporting the directory or matches except through a documented API we grant you.
- Circumventing quotas, paywalls, visibility rules, or technical controls.
- Pay-to-rank, fake engagement, or schemes to manipulate fit or directory placement.
- Impersonation, fake firms, or claiming a domain you do not control.
- Sharing a counterparty’s messages, documents, or identity outside the consented conversation, except as law requires.
- Uploading malware, or attempting to probe, scan, or disrupt the service.
- Unsolicited commercial email or other spam through or about the service.
- Using the service to offer or solicit securities, fund interests, or advisory services in a way that requires a license you do not have.
- Posting or sending material non-public information in breach of insider-trading, market-abuse, or confidentiality duties (US, UK MAR, EU MAR, Canadian securities laws).
- Harassment, discrimination, threats, or content that is illegal in the US, Canada, the UK, or the EU.
- Collecting personal information of others without a lawful basis, including buying or uploading contact lists for blasting.
- Using the service if you are a sanctioned person or for a sanctioned purpose.
- Allowing a minor to use your seat.
Professional standards
Treat counterparties as you would in a closed institutional process. Independent diligence is always required. Do not present a match, score, or AllocatIN label as an investment recommendation, a performance ranking, or our endorsement.
Enforcement
We may remove content, limit features, or terminate accounts. We may report unlawful activity to authorities. Repeated scraping or credential stuffing will be treated as a security incident.
This policy does not create a duty to monitor all content. Notice procedures are in IP & notices.
