Definitions of AllocatIN product terms — Power Intro, Mutual Connect, hard filters, soft-fit, DiscoverIN, and MessagIN.

These entries define AllocatIN vocabulary. They are not generic encyclopedia clones.

Power Intro
A Power Intro is a weekly outbound Connect action on AllocatIN. It expresses interest in another institutional firm within that week’s quota and is not an investment recommendation.
Mutual Connect
Mutual Connect is the state when both sides on AllocatIN have Connect interest in each other. MessagIN unlocks only after Mutual Connect.
Hard filter
A hard filter is an eligibility gate on AllocatIN (for example asset class, ticket band, geography, or structure). Candidates that fail hard filters are not treated as eligible matches.
Soft-fit
Soft-fit is AllocatIN’s ranked compatibility score and explanation for candidates that already passed hard filters. It highlights relative fit; it does not label “best” managers.
DiscoverIN
DiscoverIN is AllocatIN’s open browse surface across manager and allocator profiles with fit context, separate from weekly Power Intro cards.
MessagIN
MessagIN is AllocatIN’s messaging product for conversations that unlock only after Mutual Connect.
