Everything you need to use AllocatIN — from claiming your firm to sending a Connect and managing your plan. For legal terms and policies, see Legal.
AllocatIN helps managers and allocators in alternative investments find each other and start a real conversation. We are a matching and workflow tool — not a data terminal, and we do not recommend investments.
Manager–allocator networking is still a thankless process. AllocatIN replaces those channels with verified institutional profiles, hard filters and transparent fit, intentional Connect quotas, and MessagIN only after both sides connect.
Access is invitation-only. You need a verified company email that matches your firm’s domain. The network is for institutional managers and allocators only — for example private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds, pensions, insurers, endowments, family offices, wealth managers, funds of funds, OCIOs, private banks, and sovereign wealth funds.
Placement agents, advisors, and finders cannot take a seat. You can still introduce a warm contact between two firms that are already on AllocatIN, when both sides agree.
Use a company email that matches your firm’s domain. Personal inboxes (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, and similar) cannot be used to claim or sign in. A public website is optional — many discreet offices have none; we then match your work-email host.
Many firms already have a public, unclaimed profile built from public information. Claiming lets your team correct what you control and start using ConnectIN and MessagIN. If your firm is not in the catalogue — common for private family offices — choose Create a new profile, pick Manager or Allocator, and complete every onboarding step.
Anyone with a matching work email can claim the company. Personal profiles — what appears in Discover and receives person-level Connects — are gated by title:
The firm profile lists every strategy / asset class the company manages or deploys. On your personal profile, tag a strategy focus (for example private credit vs private equity) so Discover can route to the right person. Do not create a separate company profile per strategy.
Keep your profile factual: what you invest in or raise for, ticket size, geography, and structure. That is what drives fit — not marketing copy.
Claim picks one primary side (Manager or Allocator). If your firm both manages and allocates, an admin can add a second profile on the other side from Profile — not a blended profile. Each side has its own team and connection admin. Until the second profile exists, matching uses the primary side only.
Org admins invite colleagues from Profile → Team as admin or member (member is the default):
On the manager side, each person buys their own seat. On the allocator side, colleagues join free. There is no employee cap.
In short: set up your profile → see who fits → Connect → message when both say yes.
You always make your own decisions. Independent diligence stays with you.
| Place | Use it to… |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | See what needs attention today and jump back into ConnectIN or MessagIN. |
| DiscoverIN | Search the whole network as a signed-in member (not only your mandate). Each Connect uses one Power Intro (or one weekly connect if you are an allocator). |
| ConnectIN | Work through a curated deck of suggested counterparties. New suggestions are paced each day. Each Connect uses one Power Intro. |
| CircleIN | Person matches on career and interests (same-side allowed). Each intro draws from your shared weekly Power Intro pool (same as ConnectIN). |
| MessagIN | Chat after a mutual Connect. Schedule meetings from inside the thread. |
| CRM | Allocators and Manager Pro — keep a private shortlist (Saved) and track relationship stages until both sides connect. Frozen on Manager Basic. Contacts stay under Contacts; CRM export connects HubSpot / Salesforce when enabled for your seat. |
| Agent | Ask questions about your own activity on AllocatIN. It does not email or message anyone for you. |
| Profile, Team & Billing | Edit firm and personal details, add a second manager/allocator profile, invite colleagues, hand off connection admin, and manage your plan. |
Depending on your plan you may also see Signals and Analytics. Firms can use CRM export (HubSpot, Salesforce) and API access from Profile → Apps. We do not publish live fundraising mandates or host diligence materials on-platform.
On Manager Basic, you can browse DiscoverIN and Skip in ConnectIN. Save, CRM, and sending Connect unlock with Manager Pro, or if you still have a one-time Power Intro from a referral. Allocators can Save and use CRM from verified registration.
As an allocator, you can Connect to managers on Manager Pro (or another paid manager seat). Connecting to an unclaimed manager profile forwards your request as an invite for that firm to claim and respond. Claimed Manager Basic managers stay browseable, but Connect is blocked until they upgrade.
Managers get a weekly pool of Power Intros — one per Connect request. Allocators get a weekly connect allowance (same idea). Limits refresh each Monday in your local timezone.
Your Connect queue is every ranked match currently sitting for your mandate — the full pipeline (for example 55 cards). That number is not a daily unlock. Separately, daily reveals pace how many new cards from that queue you can open today (Manager Pro: 12). Cards already opened today stay usable; once the daily cap is hit, further cards freeze until tomorrow but remain in the queue.
| You are… | Power Intros / week (ConnectIN + CircleIN) | New ConnectIN cards / day (reveals) |
|---|---|---|
| Manager Basic | Skip only (no weekly Power Intros · Save/CRM frozen) | 5 |
| Manager Pro | 10 | 12 |
| Allocator | 15 | 15 |
If you have both a weekly allowance and a one-time Power Intro (for example from a referral), we use the weekly allowance first. CircleIN draws from the same Power Intro pool as ConnectIN — weekly and one-time. CircleIN daily reveals use the same caps as ConnectIN.
CircleIN is a second matching layer — people match on career history and shared interests (including same-side manager↔manager / allocator↔allocator). Intros draw from your shared weekly Power Intro pool across ConnectIN and CircleIN.
| You are… | Shared Power Intros / week |
|---|---|
| Manager Basic | Skip only (0) |
| Manager Pro | 10 |
| Allocator | 15 |
For the first ~6 months only Manager Basic and Manager Pro are public. Phase 2 Manager Bronze / Manager Silver / Manager Gold stay off public sale until cutover. When that happens, existing Manager Pro seats become Manager Silver (same 10 shared Power Intros/week) and keep their current price until they change plan.
Allocators use the product free. Manager seats are billed per person — each colleague on a manager firm buys their own seat. Amounts below are shown in USD for your region and do not include tax. Full plan cards: Pricing. Cancel and refunds: Refund & cancellation policy.
| Plan | Monthly price | Power Intros / week (ConnectIN + CircleIN) |
|---|---|---|
| Allocator | Free | 15 |
| Manager Basic | Free | Skip only · Save/CRM frozen |
| Manager Pro | $40 | 10 |
CircleIN draws from the same weekly Power Intro pool as ConnectIN. Successful referrals grant one Power Intro each (usable on ConnectIN or CircleIN). Phase 1 public tiers are Manager Basic + Manager Pro only. When Phase 2 launches, existing Manager Pro seats become Manager Silver (same 10 shared Power Intros/week). They keep their Phase 1 Stripe price until they change plan; new Manager Silver checkouts use the Manager Silver list (£20 / $30 / €25).
Upgrade to Manager Pro from Profile → Billing. Checkout charges list price and always collects a card at sign-up. To cancel or return to Manager Basic, use Manage subscription (Stripe customer portal). Paid access continues through the end of the current billing period. Failed payments stay on Manager Pro while Stripe retries (past due); if the subscription is canceled or marked unpaid, the seat reverts to Manager Basic (Skip only, Save frozen). See the Refund & cancellation policy.
Your Connect queue can hold many ranked matches at once — that is the pipeline, not a daily unlock. New cards you can open each day: Manager Basic 5, Manager Pro 12, Allocator 15. CircleIN daily reveals use the same caps.
We show and charge pounds in the UK, euros in EU member states, and US dollars everywhere else — from your IP country, not browser language. Published Manager Pro lists are £25 / €30 / $40 per seat per month; the amount on this page is the one for your region, and Checkout uses that same Stripe Price. If that currency’s price is not live, checkout is unavailable — we will not silently charge you in another currency. Extra seats at a firm do not share a Power Intro pool: each paying colleague has their own weekly allowance.
We recommend turning on two-factor authentication under Profile → Security once you take Manager Pro. It’s optional; once it’s on, you’ll enter your authenticator code before Connect, Save, or CRM.
Launch is ad-free — no in-workflow sponsored placements for managers or allocators. If ads are turned on later, higher tiers may opt out.
Colleague invites (Profile → Team) add someone to your firm side as admin or member — they do not pay the referral reward. Referral links (Profile or Billing) are for bringing a new firm onto AllocatIN. When that referral succeeds, you and the person you invited each receive one Power Intro (usable on ConnectIN or CircleIN) — a one-time boost, not a permanent extra every week.

The iOS and Android apps can Discover, Connect, Save (allocators and Manager Pro), send intros on CircleIN, and use MessagIN when you are signed in. Billing, team invites, dual-side profiles, two-factor enrollment, and the full CRM workspace stay on the web. The browser extension is a demo shell, not the live product. You can remove the app anytime; to delete your account, use the web workspace or a privacy request.
